How to Use These Filters

Upload an image, pick a preset or fine-tune the sliders, then apply. The preview updates instantly and a download link appears.

  • Presets are a quick start; the sliders give you full control on top.
  • Brightness and contrast work like any photo editor — 100% is unchanged.
  • Blur is best used lightly (1–3 px) for soft-focus effects.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my image uploaded anywhere?

No. All filtering happens locally in your browser with the Canvas API — your image never leaves your device.

Why does my blur look different from other apps?

This tool uses CSS filter blur on the whole canvas. Heavy Gaussian blur with soft edges needs an external editor, but light blur works well here.

Can I combine filters with conversion?

Yes — apply the filter here, download the PNG, then run it through the Image Converter for JPG or WebP.

What do the presets do?

Vintage adds warm tones and soft contrast, Cool shifts toward blue, and Warm shifts toward orange — common editorial looks.

Practical Example

Give a modern photo a Vintage look:

  • Preset Vintage → sepia(0.35) + contrast(0.95) + brightness(1.05).
  • Add a touch of blur (1 px) for a soft, film-like feel.
  • Result downloads as a PNG with all original pixels preserved.

What Your Results Mean

  • Brightness — 100% is unchanged; lower darkens, higher lightens.
  • Contrast — 100% is unchanged; lower flattens, higher intensifies differences.
  • Saturation — 100% is full color; 0% is grayscale; higher intensifies colors.
  • Blur — softens detail; measured in pixel radius.
